|Title||Summer's Evening History Walk|
This walk is now full but we will be putting on another, don't worry! Led by Mike Hildesley, join us for a fascinating insight into Barnes Common - and in the pub for after-walk chats, of course!
Meet at Barnes Pond by the Totem (outside OSO on the Common side of pond) to depart at 18.00. The walk should last approx one and a half hours - two hours, and will end up back at Green - for those who wish to head to Sun Inn.
Estimated distance 3 miles, on paved and unpaved surfaces. (Regrettably not suitable for wheelchairs or infirm but we are happy to organise a separate suitable walk for another time if there is demand. Good walking shoes or boots recommended and be aware there may be bugs!
Although this is a history walk, there is no harm in bringing binoculars in case of interesting sightings : )
