After many years of hard work, our beloved John Deere Gator is on its last legs. This vehicle is essential to our work on Barnes Common and Leg o’ Mutton Local Nature Reserve.
Without it, it would be impossible to carry out the conservation and habitat works that help us maintain these special sites for our community. Whether it’s transporting tools, moving mulch or just getting around, the gator is a crucial part of the team, and we won’t be able to function without one.
Please donate to our fundraiser to help us replace the Gator on GoFundMe. Sadly we can’t refurbish the existing vehicle as it’s at the end of its life, with spare parts being hard to source for this old model.
