Help us plan and find out more - Saturday 10th November 14.00 - 15.30 Tea and cakes, too! Older children who would like to be involved are very welcome
As the growing season moves into its much-needed restful time, Sharon will be planning layout and plants for the coming year - one of her favourite things and always best when shared! There is a great deal to think about and we want as many as possible to be involved in all stages of our community growing projects. If you would like to get involved, and help us with our planting plans for the coming season - please join us!!
There is lots to do: Make plans, order seeds, plant up broad beans, onions, peas, salads, carrots....in our existing raised beds and in the polytunnel! We need to finish building the raised beds in the polytunnel, complete the polytunnel growing space with a border of raised beds and fruit bushes/vines/cordons...and of course, plant up the small orchard - all by early January!! So slower times, but still much to do - and don't forget that all will be celebrated with our Winter Wassail - definitely not to be missed!!
Our Community Gardening programme meets at Vine Road Recreation Ground SW13 0NE -
THERE ARE NO GARDENING ACTIVITIES UNTIL THE NEW YEAR. PLEASE CHECK BACK THEN AND HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY TIME!
