Community HarvestWhatever your skills, whatever your age or ability, whatever your time commitment – the simple fact is we couldn’t do it without you.

Support takes many forms: currently we need hands-on help on the Common, at Vine Road Park, and at Leg o Mutton Reserve. We also need desk-based support.  So whether you want a regular commitment, to be able to ‘drop in’, or to take part in an annual event like our big litter pick, please let us know!

Man leaning on garden forkVolunteering is a great way to be part of a team, learn new skills and share your expertise.  We are a friendly bunch, so why not get in touch to find out more.

IMPORTANT:  If you are joining us for any of our outdoor work parties, please wear sturdy, appropriate footwear. Several layers of clothing are better than one heavy coat. Work gloves are provided, but you may prefer to bring your own.  Don’t forget a hat and on a good day – sun cream!  Even in cold weather, you can become dehydrated when working outside, so a bottle of water is a must.

Please take the time to read our Risk Assessments and Volunteer Handbook

It is highly recommended that you seek medical advice with regard to having up-to-date tetanus when taking part in any outdoor activities.
