

Our Eco-Explorers Summer Camp will run for 4 days from Tuesday 21 July to Friday 24 July. Young people aged 8-14 will learn how to identify, record and understand wildlife around them. Building skills throughout the week, they will take part in practical conservation activities and also learn how to share their knowledge with others!
Programme (subject to change/adjustment):
Day 1 – Investigating plants. A closer look at the trees and other plants around the Common.
Day 2 - Navigating and wayfinding. Understanding how to navigate around open spaces and safely explore wild spaces.
Day 3 – Investigating invertebrates. Compare the wildlife living in different habitats.
Day 4 – Conservation activities & Sharing skills and knowledge. Assist with practical habitat management activities.Learn how to use art and creative skills to engage the community around us with nature.
Each day will run from 09.30 to 15.30, with opportunities for breaks and socialising. Young people aged 8-14 will work as a group and develop their confidence and social and interpersonal skills.
All activities will be led by our Education and Lifelong Learning Manager and our team of volunteers. Spaces are limited, with concessions available.
Morning snacks and drinks are included, bring your own lunch.
Ticket pricing:
As always, all money goes to fund our education and conservation work.

Refund policy:
Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds on cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event. In some circumstances, we may be able to offer a rebooking for a similar event.
