Will Dartnell is our Conservation Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the conservation and stewardship of Barnes Common and Leg o’ Mutton local nature reserves. Will joined BCL in 2017.
Will Scott-Mends is our Conservation Officer and assists Will in all areas of conservation work. He also shares updates about conservation work via the Barnes Common instagram page. Will joined BCL in 2019.
Jackie Marie is our Community Engagement, Communications and Development Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the development of our projects and coordinating our communication network. During her leisure time, she can often be found rowing on the river Thames. Jackie joined BCL in 2020.
Bori Kiss joined BCL in autumn 2021 and she is BCL’s Communications Officer. She is responsible for updating this website, sharing our news and events on our social media platforms, and sending out our monthly newsletter.
Paddy Hayes joined BCL at the same time as Bori and is taking on BCL’s educational remit as our Education and Outdoor Learning Officer. This will focus particularly on Outdoor Learning, which we hope will provide a really exciting way of engaging with all ages of the local community and help to promote what BCL does. Paddy currently works two days a week with his remaining time spent at the Creekside Discovery Centre at Deptford where he is often to be found ‘mudlarking’!
Tarun Ingvorsen joined BCL at the start of 2022 as our Project Manager for the Defra / EA flood resilience scheme where BCL is a partner alongside the Wetlands Trust and Richmond Council. Tarun has a wealth of experience regarding rivers, wetlands and flooding including being part of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust’s recent beaver reintroduction.
Frances (Frankie) Doorgachurn joined BCL in August 2022 as the administrator for the DEFRA/EA flood resilience scheme, where BCL is a partner alongside WWT and Richmond Council. Frankie has lots of experience in management and HR.
