It is understandable that people often wish to commemorate a loved one in a favourite place. However, careful consideration is required. We have a duty of care to ensure that the sites under our stewardship retain their character, encourage natural generation of native species of all plants, including trees, and actively discourage or remove non-native or invasive species.

This means opportunities for memorial seats, benches and trees are extremely limited. We will always do our best to help, but may not be able to accommodate your wishes.
