Join our term time growing sessions for primary school aged children and their families every Monday after school!

Our after-school club is now booking for September 2026! Every week, children will take part in all sorts of gardening activities - from sowing seeds to feeding our wormery. They'll get to prepare and eat the delicious fresh produce we grow here, learn all about bugs and the ecosystems that support our garden and take part in lots of nature-based craft activities. At the end of each session, children complete their garden diaries, writing or drawing something they've seen that day - so by the end of term, they have a lovely record of their time here. The after-school club will support children in developing a love of nature and ideas about how we can care for the natural world.

Open to all primary aged children and younger siblings, there is a discount if you book the full half-term at once. Concessionary tickets are also available - get in touch directly to book these.

Arrival time is between 3.30 and 3.45pm, and there will be an activity to join in as you arrive. From 3.45 to 4.15pm we will do some seasonal gardening activities, and at 4.15, we will complete our garden diaries. The session will finish at 4.30pm.

Please note, dogs will not be admitted at this event except guide dogs. All our events are dog free unless specifically mentioned in the event listing.

Concession tickets: All proceeds from ticket sales will support our conservation work and future learning events and we would encourage you, if you can, to pay full price. We do not want cost to be a barrier to our activities, as such we have a limited number of free and discounted concession tickets available, please email us for details.
