We are delighted to welcome Karen Goldie-Morrison, Chair of Council at Butterfly Conservation and good Friend of Barnes Common. Karen will lead a morning walk on Barnes Common, looking at butterflies in their habitats.
Join us and see how many butterflies and moths can you identify using this fabulous new ID sheet our friend, local photographer Andrew Wilson has produced!
Karen has always had a strong personal interest in butterflies and their conservation. She has been the lead volunteer butterfly transect monitor with BCL for a few years now, recording at least 27 species of butterfly.
Please note that although the date of this event is 16 July, there is a back stop date of 23 July if the weather on the 16th is rainy and cold, or extremely hot.
