This is a workshop where family groups, young people and adults will work as teams to explore nature, collect natural materials, and craft an autumn scene in a box frame to take home.

This workshop is suitable for all ages and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

11.00-12.00 - A stroll on Barnes Common exploring the colours of nature and collecting natural materials. There will be activities for young people and there is a buggy friendly route.

12.00-12.30 - Return to our growing area where we will have tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some snacks. Opportunity to have your own snack or lunch as well.

12.30-13.30 - Art & craft workshop creating a 3D box frame display (see image below for an example) which you can take home. You will be able to make 1 of these frames as a group or purchase additional tickets to make individual ones.

All art materials will be provided. This activity is suitable for everyone from beginner to advanced artist. Suitable for all ages but younger participants will need support for some of the art elements. Refreshments will be provided. Places are limited, so advance booking is essential.

Tickets:

Tickets are £10 per frame. Each attending group must purchase at least 1 frame ticket. Any number of people can collaborate on one frame and additional people can attend for free. Let us know how many people are in your group in the form at the checkout.

All proceeds from ticket sales support future learning and conservation activities, and we would encourage you, if you can, to pay full price. We do not want cost to be a barrier to our activities, so if for any reason you are unable to pay for the full price tickets, we have a limited number of discounted concession tickets. Refund policy:

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds on cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event. In some circumstances we may be able to offer a rebooking for a similar event. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
