Would you like to learn more about pruning and caring for fruit trees? Do you have a few hours to spare in December? Join us for a morning working in the Barnes Common community orchard. December’s session will focus on pruning the apple and pear trees. We’ll start with a demonstration, so even if you’ve never done this before, please do come along! All tools and equipment will be provided, and there’ll be plenty of tea and coffee to keep you warm! We will be running seasonal sessions at the orchard throughout the year, so if you can’t attend, keep your eye out for the next date.
The session will be on 11th December from 10 – 12. The meeting point for the session will be the community orchard at the Former Goods Yard, behind Barnes Station. The what3words location is ///marker.cute.bunny. Click here for Google Maps. Please register on Eventbrite, so we know how many people to expect.
