Join us for this family friendly holiday activity and help us discover how many different species we share the Common with!
We will be searching the meadow with nets, turning over logs and stones, and inspecting the trees using beating sheets and bug pots. We'll share our findings as a group and use identification keys to try and name what we find.
This activity is aimed at children aged 8-14 years old, but younger children are welcome to attend as well. All bookings for children must be include an adult. We recommend a maximum of 3 children per adult for this activity.
This event will be entirely outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather and in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
The meeting point will be the Vine Road Recreation Ground:
Adults without accompanying children are welcome to attend this event as well.
TICKETS: All proceeds from ticket sales will support future learning events and we would encourage you, if you can, to pay full price. We do not want cost to be a barrier to our activities, so if for any reason you are unable to pay for the full price tickets please select the 'Concession' option.
