Join Community BlueScapes for a walk around Leg o' Mutton to discover the local wildlife. Leg o' Mutton is a designated Local Nature Reserve where cormorant, heron, tufted duck and breeding common terns can be seen during the day.

Join Will Dartnell, Conservation Manager at Barnes Common Limited, for a guided exploration of the Leg o’ Mutton nature reserve.

Discover the secret superpowers of blue space as we delve into the local wildlife that rely on these reserves, how the space changes through the seasons, and the wonderful species you might spot along the way.

We’ll be discussing the role that wetlands play in the local ecosystem and the world of wildlife they support.

Please note, due to the narrow paths at Leg o' Mutton, places are limited and booking is essential. Dress appropriately as light showers could be expected and walking shoes will be needed to walk through the reserve.

This event is subject to cancellation at short notice in case of very wet weather.
