This 6-week Intro to Growing course is suitable for those who are new to growing, as well as experienced growers wanting to learn more.

Join us at the Community Growing Project for this six-week Introduction to Growing course. Suitable for those who are new to growing, as well as experienced growers who want to learn more. We’ll cover a wide range of topics over the 6 weeks, including:

  • Climate-friendly growing
  • 'Plants for free' (taking cuttings, lifting and dividing, seed saving etc)
  • Composting and soil health
  • Natural pest control
  • Companion planting
  • Pruning techniques
  • Container growing
  • Herbs and healing plants

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion, asking questions and practical learning. Tea and biscuits will be provided! Places are limited so sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

Please book the whole 6-session course here - individual sessions are not available to book. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 2:30-4pm on 9th, 16th and 23rd September and 7th, 14th and 21st October.
