Come and join our work party, we will be preparing our young hedges for the coming summer. After a very dry 2025, drought is also predicted for this year and young plants are particularly vulnerable. We will be removing some of the undergrowth and spreading mulch over the roots of our hedges, planted with the aim of providing more variety in habitats, increasing local biodiversity.
Please use the What3Words app and the location https://w3w.co/audio.unity.rope to locate the meeting place, which is on the West side of Rocks Lane, between Mill Hill Road and Ranelagh Avenue.
We will provide work tools and gloves but you're welcome to bring your own gloves.
Minimum age 16+.
Please arrive on time and wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy boots. We'll have tea, coffee and biscuits, so you'll just need your water bottle and a reusable cup for your tea or coffee.
