Are you looking for activities to do with the children during February half term? We’ve got lots going on at Barnes Common.
We’ve got two events for younger children and their parents/carers. At our free, Family Friendly Growing Session on Monday 17th February there will be a chance for your children to get their hands dirty with lots of different gardening activities. All tools and equipment are provided – just wear suitable clothing for the weather. Book your place here.
On Saturday, February 15th we’ve got our monthly Yaffles Nature Club involving getting out and about exploring the wonderful outdoors at Barnes Common – all are welcome! Tickets for children are £2 and accompanying adults can attend for free. The Club is for family groups of adults and young people aged 3-9 years, to develop their confidence and skills for outdoor exploration. There will be games and challenges and plenty of fun! For older kids, our upcoming Bird Box Building Workshop on the 18th February is a great opportunity to try their hand at some DIY while also helping wildlife. This is a workshop for age 10+, to build your own bird nesting box in time for this year’s nesting season! Tickets £15 for 1 young person + 1 adult and include all materials.
