Food Bank Project

At the beginning of 2022, we set a goal of growing enough food to deliver 10 food boxes to a local food bank. We were able to connect with the Richmond Food Network (Castelnau Centre) and to date have delivered 14 boxes of fresh, organic, local produce grown and harvested by volunteers. Each box benefitted 4 to 5 families and we were delighted to hear how much they were enjoyed and that some families tried (and loved) some vegetables they had not tried before! We are now preparing for our final box of the year, which will be delivered a couple of weeks before Christmas.

In 2023 we intend to double production, which means food boxes will benefit 96 families.
