On Monday August 8th, you’ll learn how to make and keep your own Nature Journal, a home-made scrapbook style journal, to record your summer adventures.
Join us on August 9th to marvel at the diversity of wildflowers growing on the Common, collecting some specimens for flower pressing and sun printing.
On August 16th, we will host a Mega Bug Hunt in the Orchard by the station – come and discover all the small and beautiful creatures that we share this space with!
And finally, on August 23rd we will host a walk and social gathering in our food growing areas of Vine Road Park, discussing the links between food production, biodiversity, sustainability and more.
People of all ages are welcome at each activity and free tickets are available for anyone who needs one. Tickets are available via our Events page.
Each activity is loosely based around the concept of Nature Journaling, where people keep records of what they see, hear, and feel whilst exploring nature. If you are interested in this idea then come along to any of the activities and Paddy will explain more about how to make a start on your own Nature Journal.
