We are delighted to have been chosen as one of three community groups to to get a share of Tesco’s Community Grants fund. Our competing project is our after school club where children and their parents grow, learn and eat together. The children also grow fruit and vegetables that are delivered to the local food bank.

Tesco works with community charity Groundwork to run its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £1,500, £1,000 and £500 awarded to local community projects.

Three groups in every community have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

Voting is open in all Tesco stores from from Tuesday 28th April 2026 until the end of July 2026. You can cast your vote using a token given to you at the check-out each time you shop. Please don’t forget to take a token when you use the self checkout machines, and ask for one from the cashier if you pay by the till.
